one day it stopped being gibberish and started being language.
I think that day is awesome for any language learner. When you realize you actually understand what someone is saying instead of trying to translate in your head. 🤌
Just a bridgeman doing his thing.

The thing that got me when finally speaking to natives was how fast natural speaking is. You think you can understand things fine but that’s because the teachers and apps are speaking clearly and slowly and waiting for you to parse each sentence. Natural conversation isn’t like that.
There is currently a $100,000 prize to whomever can win a Downhill world cup with a belt drive so I’m calling BS for them not being good for every situation. If it’s good enough for a worlds DH track it’s good enough for any riding.
you’d be called gay if you ever rode a bike with a helmet back then, and on top of that made fun of for wearing goggles
I agree this isn’t an old pic but this statement reads like you’ve never been offroading on a bike. The first time you’re riding and a branch hits your head when you’re blasting down a trail or get mud in your eye during a maneuver, you’ll grab that protective gear, trust me.
The not-tipping argument really only works if you’re ordering a black coffee
Why? It’s their job to make coffee. The company should pay them enough to not have to beg for additional money on top of the compensation they already receive. This is the way it works in other parts of the world.
And that is why they have it. Because people are too ashamed to say no to corporate beggars.
I heard one of the files they stole was labeled “The complete guide to git gud”

I’m not a lawyer but that doesn’t seem likely to hold up in court.
Looks and feels real? I’m sorry but if i’m getting a cyberpunk upgrade it will be gold, chrome, or matte neon plastic. There are no other options ya gonk.
That mostly happens when someone deletes a comment that someone replied to i think. Although, this specific link works fine for me in Voyager.
You train with tear gas to get you used to it and to get you to trust in your gas mask. First in basic and then again every few months. With the taser we used them during combatives training so you would know what it feels like in case someone stole yours and used it against you. The thought is it may help you prevent you pissing your pants.
I have experience with both from the military. Tear gas isn’t as bad as being tased. Also tear gas you build up a tolerance.

Because it hasn’t always been this way. When I was first learning linux you couldn’t guarantee support for any hardware unless you compiled the kernel yourself. Even then you’d run into many problems that would frustrate a non-techy person.
Also The Other Guys with Will Ferrell. That’s a great movie.
Especially since they go by Paddy. It’s short for Padraig.
Even if the world becomes a hellscape do you want to meet your maker choking on bits of your own lungs or breathing normally?
That is why you shouldn’t smoke. Lung cancer and COPD are not things you want to deal with if you want to do anything remotely physical later in life.
