Hey guys we made a neat new Bluetooth tracker! We’re innovators!
You know I was all down to be like “stay and see how it turns out”
But yeah now I see mushroom dude with a fckin bowie knife I’m like nope
Oh ho ho, not just in public my friend
What kind of monster attacks public libraries
With the sheer amount of money that the rich are throwing at OpenAI via investment firms, they don’t need nor want to charge imo. The fact that they’re being built into Apple’s ecosystem and are getting name-dropped to people inside of iOS is kinda what their investors want.
It’s the age old “walmart opens and operates at a loss for 2 years to force others out of business, then jacks the price” model.
Investors want them to cement this as The AI company & brand so that once it gets giant and starts to be profitable just by being the biggest gorilla in the room, the shares they bought are worth more.
So what I’m trying to say is that our version of capitalism is perfect and makes lots of sense and is in no way insane and degenerate.
Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!!
Any roadblocks? Any roadblocks? Squaaa, any roadblocks?
Ah crap, you’re right - that’s another video of his, apologies
Yeah this is what I’ve heard as well. Aging Wheels goes into it a bit in this review of a concept car, kinda neat - it has pedals like a bicycle but the energy they add is a tiny fraction of what the thing needs to move.
Edit: oops, I’m combining two of his vids in my head, this one is just solar not pedals.
Yeah that’s exactly what I’m getting at - when does a tool stop being a tool and start being a non-human creator? It’ll be interesting to see how courts suss it out…
Ahh, interesting. I almost admitted to not knowing that when I posted haha - I’m not hugely familiar with how image ai works, wasn’t sure it would be possible for one person to produce enough training material under current tech.
Interesting to think about it as a hypothetical, though.
Honestly I’d need it to not be 100% permanent. If the earth gets obliterated I’m not interested in swirling in the void forever. If a government figures it out and keeps me locked to a table for decades, I want to be able to die.
If you give me the ability to concentrate and stop existing, I’m in.
But did you ever CONSIDER that Stalin was a GENUS and those people DESERVED to die for disagreeing with him?! Did you!? HMMM!?!?!
Perhaps more than one thing, who can know?
I mean gitlab is pretty sweet
Anything unrelated to elephants is irrelephant.
for X in $(seq -f host%02g 1 9); do echo $X; ssh -q $X “grep the shit”; done
:)
But yeah fair, I do actually use a big data stack for log monitoring and searching… it’s just way more usable haha
