I feel like we’d exchange the Elon Musks of the world for the JK Rowlings of the world, the Ronald Reagans for the Margaret Thatchers, and the Donald Trumps for the Ayn Rands.

          Fairer sex my ass

The only reason you don’t think women can be evil is because you’re too used to the idea of women as damsels to be rescued, too childish to be a threat to anyone. This is because the patriarchy hates the idea that a woman can be competent moreso than a man, even in acts of evil.

And after 200 years of matriarchy, people would be saying that women are evil and we should have a patriarchy. Whoever holds the power always ends up oppressing whoever doesn’t.

The problem is too many won’t go for it. I recently met a guy who completely voted against his own best interests just because Kamala was born with a vagina instead of a penis. He admitted it freely, so he knowingly voted for the people who want to make people like him slaves again. It’s absolutely mind boggling.

Statistically, women leaders start more wars than men, so a matriarchal society signs us up for more war. The group statistically likely to start less wars is former soldiers, probably because they know the horrors.

Maybe leadership is more “content of character” than a gender issue

Gods dammit, and after Artemis I was so succesful! I was looking forward to Artemis II… And seeing humans once again on the moon in my lifetime.

I won’t get it. Mars is, resource poor. Don’t get me wrong; having humanity set foot on another planet would be an amazing achievement, but… Since everything is so profit-driven, why not support a return to the moon!?

There’s potentially Helium 3 up there. And the moon has a bunch of surface-minerals.

The Artemis program never had any legs. The entire thing was being done in the most stupid way possible simply so that NASA could use SLS, a rocket that was completely incapable of actually fulfilling it stated mission. It was like the Apollo missions but without the lander.

Keith’s 23 March update: within a few hours after this was posted (over a weekend) A NASA YouTube video and an official NASA photo of two female astronauts were pulled offline. Both things had been online for several years. This is not the first time this has happened. Apparently NASA DEI Sanitation Squad is using my postings to help them delete things. Details below.

So has anybody saved the YouTube video?

You deliberately choose to ignore the word ‘mostly’ to deny the tiny true left in your banana republic’s otherwise awful political spectrum.
But you couldn’t make that nasty remark otherwise could you?
Am I better than the people complicit in genocide and plenty more despicable things? Absolutely.
            It’s not that hard.

So, I’m curious if they’re just bowing to trump in extreme desperation to keep federal funding, otherwise they’re out of a job? Or, do they have some maga right wingers in leadership at NASA?

My guess and hope is the former. If true, maybe they have to come off as spineless just to keep being funded. I dunno, just speculating.

    Reaction: mixed.

Why: fruit of a poisoned tree.

Elaboration: you want art promoting good things to be sincere, because if it’s not sincere, then it’s not promoting anything, like Disney’s “kinda diversity-aimed” actions toward Star Wars ; art is sincere when it’s not pushed ; when something is promoted by an agency, it’s pushed, even if those making decisions and those making said art share the idea, the former give the latter an order and make it their job.

Context\apology: I think the same about Soviet propaganda art, it may be promoting something good sometimes, but that effect of hierarchy can be felt ; or a few recent movies made about the Armenian Genocide, all intended as a political message about, well, leaving said process unfinished and thus are not interesting as art ; or about FOSS propaganda with almost no effect, if someone remembers those videos about Linux Mint and those FOSS bloggers like Nixie Pixel, that kinda stuff.

Maybe what I wrote meant literally what I wrote. That an agenda is always ugly. People who want to fix the world via right kinds of propaganda seem to dislike that.

Don’t worry, worry-worts. There is an armada of data hoarders who will bring this all back after the purge. Data doesn’t die as long as nerds and geeks like me exist to persist the knowledge we have attained. Be of good cheer - nobody viewed that data before except a select few who cared, it is still there for them just not officially hosted by our broken system…it will be unbroken soon enough.
