Much of this artists stuff is political but much is just stuff in her (sometimes family or friends) life. Its funny to because the folks I have come across who vote right tend to be the I don’t want to talk politics and then they want to make everything political.

    Her husband isn’t white?

I never would have known if she hadn’t pointed out, since this comic is monochrome.

yeah. usually it only shows in peoples reaction. Honestly most skin tone is not obvious in low light. asian, hispanic, native, middle east, southern european ; go to a dance club and you won’t be able to tell without getting real close. Its only dark black, black with obvious afro, pastey white, and redheads (although obviously hair dye exists) that are easy to see from a distance.

Pretty sure that’s not what they’re talking about. They’re talking about how the entire comic is drawn almost entirely in black (rgb(0,0,~0)) and white. (rgb(255,255,~255)) There’s no ambient light level or distance effect because it’s a drawing, and you can’t see anything in the way the guy is drawn that would suggest any particular ethnic background.

The concept of distinct races (let alone the “sin” of miscegenation) is beyond stupid in 2025.

Genetically, there’s only about a 1% difference between the whitest white person and the darkest skinned person.

Humans are essentially a monoculture, which is why pandemics can happen.
