yeah I cannot do that. I am a bit jelly but still it is better than nothing. I did dream to rennovate for disability and getting one of the walk ins was going to be part of that but thats looking like its unlikely it will happen. I use a shower/tub combo but its not the really small modern ones were its just a pointless lip. Its still way great to soak for an hour or so.

Im pretty sure its like hardware mac addresses and there is a lot of variety but not endless. Yes. It is not all one way but there are so many advantages vs disadvantages, especially for the individual. Typically my commutes have been about an hour. Even when shorter you generally have to head out an hour before and often times I have to give an hour and a half or so as far as stepping out the door. No commute is like getting a 25% increase in hourly pay even if its not hourly. Next is its kinda a paing to bring lunch and not all places have a fridge or such to make it easier. Being able to go eat what you have on hand and do the prep during your lunch time. That while not as big a savings is a nice savings of money or time and generally you eat a bit healthier. Then lastly I see my wife and pets throughout the day. One of the most limiting things with relationships is between work and sleep and life prep stuff and self care needed each day you can’t spend as much time with an SO as you might otherwise. Its not like its big but its nice to see each other as you move around or such. Plus I can walk the dog on lunch to which is a big quality of life improvement for her. Basically on the other side you have a bit better and easier communication and collaboration and socialization with your work mates. Now granted I have a WFH space where I live and I can close the door. I have seen some folks working out of their kitchen or stuff and I have no idea how they can be productive like that. So WFH is definately better to me overall but if like I could have a job that was across the street. That would be kinda better.

Honestly. so many things are complicated and hard to explain online and you don’t encounter it in real life. those things I don’t even try.

yeah I had it to. Had seen it before and was super psyched to have the option. The bussiness thing is wild though as the hospital is basically buying so many uses rather than owning the machine.

It seems like a lot of ai problems is how people treat it. It needs to be treated like a completely naive and inexperienced intern or student or just helper. Everyone should expect that all output has to be carefully looked over like a teacher checking a students work.

The only robot surgeons I know of are like the divinci system where a doctor runs it but it allows for smaller incisions and very small and precise movements. I like that one.

I mean without one entirely. Like a non app option. I mean even if its a super libre free as in freedom hardware and software with stallmans personal seal of approval I still don’t want to be forced to use only that one option. This is not even a quandry to me. I want to live in truth as much as possible and I would really like to not have money problems. Even the no charity thing is not that big a thing. Hire people at good wages to do things or have affordable rentals. Run small businesses with very low profit margins.

im in the us so a third of my expenses are medical. last I checked and I have not really wanted to do the math again as everything is way up. I would need 6k a month so 72k a year but that is after taxes so would need to be more like 90k. This was as of almost 2 years ago though so it would be higher now.

A. Lot. I really need to retire early especially since I am out of work at the moment so now would be ideal or better yet a year ago. Wish I had the money to though.
