It’s not even the same level of propaganda. This time even US intelligence agencies are saying there are no WMD and that Iran was still years away from being able to have one. On the other hand Netanyahu has spent literal decades saying Iran is going to have nukes by next week.

And it was never supposed to be nukes right? It was like chemical weapons or something.

that was a back-peddle made by the Murdoch machine nearly a decade later, where they tried to claim some old expired chemical weapons (that the United States gave to Saddam in like the 'eighties) were in fact the fabled WMDs.

The CIA knew it was bullshit but Cheney wanted there to be WMDs so chose to believe bullshit artists instead, if John Kiriakou is to be believed. One of the only times in history where CIA might have been the good guys.

Also, Bush and Blair at least tried to go through the UN, before they just ignored it and did it anyway. This time it’s just “oh I guess we’re at war now”.

I mean, do you want to wait until they actually do have them? I’m not familiar with what Netanyahu has said, but years away seems like a good time to disrupt their program.

Do you always advocate preemptive punishment for crimes that have not actually been committed (“yet”)?

And frankly, I didn’t trust any of the nuclear powers, especially not the US. Fuck sake we have an orange dementia patient in charge!

Conspiring to commit a crime is a crime in and of itself.

And I get not trusting the USA, but Iran is a lot more terrifying.

            Way to deflect there, buddy.

US never had any business “policing” other countries, especially considering how many governments we’ve been responsible for overthrowing - for nothing more than profit.

And I couldn’t possibly care any less about fear mongering propaganda about how terrifying Iran is. Don’t get me wrong, that fucker in charge is a complete bastard. But I don’t actually know anything other than the message I’m told to believe - by one of the most corrupt nations on the planet.

            Fuck warmongering. ಠ_ಠ

        actually have them.

100% unironically: yes. I’ll tell you why. The US already has them and has used them on civilians twice already.

I don’t think my nation has the right to control what other nations do through military force.

We do it, but I don’t think we should
