We have automatic feeders for our guys and there’s no sense in shifting those for daylight savings.

If i change classes to Lumberjack and accept a 10% experience penalty for my next level can i come to BC? One of my cats will vouch for me

Well, the game-master is making the server increasingly class-locked and I’m not sure if Lumberjack is a class that’s needed rn. You can check the FAQ tho… I do know that we need support classes pretty bad (Nurse, Doctor, etc.) but that’s just because they’ve advertised it.

shit, you just need general Nurse or Specialist? I could probably multi into Nurse Anesthetist (which would play well with my scar tissue) pretty easy, but i’ve been on the financial side of medicine for a couple decades. I would much much rather work with patients than money.

This makes more sense for going back to standard time. Since daylight savings time animals on a schedule get fed “an hour earlier” than normal

In the winter I wake up at 5 and go to sleep at 10. In the summer I wake up at 6 and go to sleep at 11.

I refuse to change my circadian rhythm for an arbitrary secular time change. It’s dumb

This year for the first time I tried shifting all my elctronics to a non-dst time zone equivalent to summer time. I spent the whole winter with a 1h time difference relative to my environment and it was absolutely fine. Didn’t miss appointments, coming to work early and leaving early was accepted… I kept waiting for the powers that be to drop DST, but it turns out you can just opt out

One of our cats has epilepsy and needs to get his medication every 12 hours. It’s a pain.

I feel like the people making these posts at the beginning of DST are as confused as the pets. The clocks are moving forward, so the pets will get their food an hour earlier, by their reckoning. Doubt many pets are upset by getting food sooner

At first glance I thought it read “suffer me or feed the consequences”. Honestly works out

Ah snap thanks for the reminder.

I know it’s all automated these days, but the mental prep isn’t.
