    hardback just says it’s meant to last forever. Paperbacks just feel like they are for consumption and only survive a handful of reads

      In my experience paperbacks get read more and shared more often because hardcovers tend to be expensive and have a pretty design

        my comment sure was controversial? and I’m just happy people for passionate about a book, paperback or hardback. I’ll take the hit. I’m more comfortable reading on a ereader that supports the dyslexia font, I’d eat through books if they had that option. I find I like some books more than others and the ones that are meaningful to me become a hunt for the hardback of it. I have a lot more paperbacks of course.

        Harder to throw in a bag on your way out. I’m a big fan of e-readers for this reason.

          I feel like digital epub files are just the evolution of paperbacks in means of convenience for reading and sharing
