I have a Jeep.
Kind of a useless on-road or urban vehicle and so it’s only used for my frequent trips requiring 4×4.
Range Rovers are a weird one because they too are pretty useless on-road while also being notoriously useless off-road. Really highlights insecurity, stupidity, ora combination of the two.
Funny, in Australia Jeep is not respected as an of road vehicle, we don’t do much rock crawling which is where they shine.
LandCruiser is the off-road vehicle here. Isuzu off-road trucks are also respected

Mortified seems like a strong reaction. Somewhere between annoyed and reflective should be the response.
He was mortified to find out it was a joke. Imagine how disappointing that would be after calling that number!
But what if I have a legitimate use for a 4x4 and I use it daily. Do you want me to buy a grocery car?
Then you’re in a very very small minority in a city.
If it were just that minority with them there wouldn’t be a problem.
That makes sense. Also more likely in small cities, like <100.000 inhabitants
