Sadly, my enameled cast iron pot chipped. It flakes off at the edges of the chip, so not food safe anymore.
This pot is my go to for making spaghetti sauce, stews, etc. I baby it, no metal utensils, silicon or wood only.
It’s had that little crack forever, so I think this is related. I’ve emailed the manufacturer to see if they’ll replace it under their lifetime warranty.
I will miss this pot, it was a Christmas gift from my spouse and I’ve made many good meals with it. It’s weirdly sentimental to me.

Comments are not only for men, the admin created an instance called dullsters to be more explicitly inclusive. But this version of the community has inertia.
I interpret the “men” wording as a gender neutral denomination of the species as a whole. Man on the moon, mankind, mouse and men, etc.
And even if not, I think you’d have to search far and wide to find anyone who’d be strict about that part.
