      To me that counts as backing in. The purpose of backing in is making it safer for everybody when you leave your spot.

      At the train station I see so many people backing into spots when they could’ve just driven through in others. Is it a lack of intelligence, or are people just on auto-pilot trying to get to work that they just don’t think there is an easier way?

    I don’t understand the need to back in at all? When modern cars have parking sensors and reversing cameras you shouldn’t need to, especially as it holds everyone up while you’re doing it.

      Also, if you back into a parking spot at the grocery store, now you have to try to load your groceries hoping the person that parks behind you doesn’t pull up close.

      This is a very dumb way to park at the grocery store.
