    Because Canada has the trashied oil production of the world. It’s all oil sands.
    It’s better for the environment to import petrol from the US rather than produce it “locally”.

      no you see we need to export liquid natural gas (which is worse than burning coal when accounting for methane leakage) and build new infrastructure to to so all while putting 100% tariffs on cheap EVs.

      No wonder Canada’s environmental rating is among the worst in the world
