I’m so mad that there isn’t a link to more info about that, because I’m wracking my brains and I can’t think of any mechanism that makes sense.
Interestingly, $100s are still a bit less valuable per unit weight at $100/g, versus gold at about $134/g, but that’s only been since about March of this year.
Gold does have other advantages, like being much less bulky, and can be readily melted into untraceable units.

I’m a word-er, but I think hank green explained it pretty well in a video. Language is just an I/O bus, thoughts occur as a set of abstractions with associations.

I think the “test” is to describe a scene, then ask details that weren’t explicitly described, but would be necessary to fill in the gaps. It requires honesty (nothing to prevent 5s from making up answers post-hoc or 1s just feigning ignorance.)
The words are different in Hebrew, too. There’s pretty substantial debate on how exactly to translate the jealous god part, but that’s largely to do with how “abusive husband” the translator wants to make him sound.
I can pretty confidently say that usn-c wasn’t used in this photo - posts from around 10 years ago indicate that these are iPhone 5c’s.
Tbf, of all the fucked up shit and inconsistency in the bible, this one isn’t really a thing. The tenth commandment uses a different word (covet) and has a different context than in the “jealous god” used earlier.
The tenth commandment is very structured around “wanting shit that isn’t yours.” Because God (canonically) is the rightful owner of all things, he cannot be covetous

“what layout would you like for your magazine?”
“Eeehhh… Just gimme the ‘benadryl’”
In the United States, the most common street name is second Street. That’s because some municipalities have first Street and some municipalities have main Street.
Umm ackshuslly it’s because of america! Because, ummm, sanctions. Without American trade, the economy crumbled. The soviet union was a victim of economic terrorism!

Apparently the original lyric was “girls are fat and they’ve got big titties,” but the rest of the band wanted to change it.
“flipping burgers” is a colloquialism for fast food work. It involves a lot more than rotating patties on a grill.

Spelling and grammar should be appropriate for their context. Expecting every comment and post and casual conversation to follow the APA or Chicago manual doesn’t make any sense, but you also shouldn’t be using a casual voice in formal communication.

If everybody you meet make is an asshole…
