For what it’s worth, I am a frequent lurker of hexbear and their users’ newspaper archive is wonderful - every politician is full of it and they know it full well.

Oh yeah I can work under pressure
Wait, you don’t mean with the song playing in the background?
My device doesn’t have a graphics card and only has two threads, so I guess it’s just for higher end devices?
Tried it, my device crashes every 2 minutes in. Not worth the effort for now.
It would change the landscape of Linux gaming completely.
I myself cannot afford to lose some FPS (as in most games I can barely hit 30), but I cannot wait for the moment I can buy a gaming device and enjoy all these goodies!
If they have root access to my PC, webcam access is arguably not my biggest concern
To the people who insist on me adding a sticky note to my webcam, I can only say
sudo modprobe -r uvcvideo
In my case, I’m just addicted to social media like Lemmy. That’s what causes it. I can’t quit it.
Nah, that’s not it - Warframe did it right
Then what good is a state for? Let’s get down to anarchism once and for all!
As long as public money -> public code, this could potentially be a net positive for stopping predatory AI practices from Microsoft and buddies. Still, taking away funding from other projects could also be catastrophic for everything else.
Pink Floyd is underwhelming for a band commonly labelled as “prog rock”. Most of their stuff is forgettable, albeit Alan Parsons Project came off it, so I guess it’s not irredeemable if it inspired something genuinely good.
I was definitely not expecting to see ELO as the very, very first result here but I’m pleasantly surprised.
Much like the other commenter, I’d also add that Eldorado is definitely a strong contender for their best album - arguably for the fact that I’ve never ever listened to an album that came anywhere close to it.
Finally, I’d throw in Discovery + ELO’s side of Xanadu, just for the mere fact that it’s their work featuring not a single weak track, all of them being single worthy and massive hits around the world.
The previous time I saw this book mentioned, it was downvoted to oblivion (in Lemmy of all places, where you’d expect people to be better than that).
If anyone is double thinking of reading it in case your comment gets downvoted as well, please do read it. Pay no mind to the coomer hive mind, because your life is about to improve massively from the very first page.
After reading your post history, it’s obvious to me why you fail to see the point. I can only hope you eventually do.
Executives are also trying to use it to eliminate the jobs of artists, and I feel it’s wrong to try and obsolete something people love doing.
Luddism, much?
So, in gaming terms, we’re upgrading our gear to kill stronger bosses?
