I’m hearing good things about ‘Agatha…’ and ‘The Thunderbolts’ looks interesting.
We’ll see.

Six foot nine inch tall model. First one up in ‘tallest model.’ Also plenty of WNBA and WWE athletes out there.
The Proclaimers
I had to check and see who they were.
I had heard the ‘500 Miles’ song before, but I always thought it was a musical gag from ‘The Simpsons,’ like ‘Baby On Board’ or ‘Dr. Zaius.’

I was surprised to find out that it wasn’t something you came up with by random keystrokes.
I was hoping that the producers of ‘She Hulk’ would go the other way and hire a body double instead of using CGI.
St. Louis everything bagel. With a schmear.

There are six self tests in the book. Things like math, mechanical problems, leadership, etc.
A product demonstrator, a nurse, and a hair stylist all need good dexterity and good people skills. Three totally different jobs with similar skill sets.
There’s an easy way to make everything sound dirty.
Just add a place name to any noun. Wheelbarrow isn’t much, but an Arkansas wheelbarrow? Sounds filthy.
“Discover What You’re Best At” by Linda Gail.
I found this book when I was out of work due to an injury. You can do the self tests in half a day, and the jobs they suggest go from entry level to college graduate. When you can get up on a rainy Monday morning and feel okay about going to work you’ve solved most of life’s problems.
No one thought Heath Ledger was a good choice to play the Joker.
No one thought Robert Downey Jr. could be a superhero.
Heck, Vivian Leigh wasn’t even American, let alone from the South…
I’m sure he’s happy somewhere, knowing people are still enjoying his writing.
For you, I’d suggest ‘I, Robot,’ by Isaac Asimov.
It’s a short story collection with a bunch of logic puzzles. the writing is clear and easy to follow and the conundrums are engaging.
Back in the day, Marvel Comics had a Communist Chinese superhero, The Collective Man. He was actually a set of quintuplets who could join into one body that was five times as dense and five times as strong as a normal person. He could also mimic the abilities of any ‘Chinese’ person.

Anyone can meditate.
You don’t have to imagine the beach or the mountains. Just find a quiet spot in your mind. Some folks just look at the inside of their eyelids.
It took me a long time to get the racing thoughts to settle down. One thing I would do is close my eyes and start the meditation by thinking about fireworks going off. After a few explosions it was easy to tell myself it was time to relax.
Inhale on ‘one,’ hold a beat and then exhale on ‘two.’ Repeat.
Even if it’s five seconds to start it’s a beginning.
You can also do it while walking or riding a bike. Obviously you don’t close your eyes, but you try to think about nothing but the next step or push on the pedal.
You can learn to meditate anywhere.
It’s like any other skill, you have to put some effort in at the start, but the results are worth it.
You don’t need meditation tapes, candles, or anything else.
Find a quiet place, sit down, close your eyes and try to find a quiet spot in your mind. A beach or a mountain top or grandma’s kitchen; wherever you feel most serene.
You can just count “one, two one, two” as you breath in and out.
Just try to keep your thoughts quiet for ten seconds to start. Then work up to 30 seconds, and then a minute.
Reminds me of a Billy Crystal joke.
105 year old man and his 99 year old wife go to the judge to ask for a divorce.
“Are you sure that you want a divorce at your ages?”
“Yes, your honor, we haven’t been happy for a while and it’s time to end things.”
“Why did you stay together for so long?”
“We were waiting for the children to die.”
Think about it this way. In 1960, minimum wage was $1.00/hour and the average home was $11,000.00 In 1968, when Richard Nixon took office, ‘middle class’ meant one Union job supporting a family of four. By the time Bush Se. left office in 1992 “middle class” was two college jobs to support the household.
