got rid of my commercial grade servers and implemented consumer grade hardware that requires less power.

I was running four whole dell R series for a total of around 5kw of power (four devices x 1kw psu + redundant).

now I’m running two consumer grade servers with newer for efficient tech and smaller non-redundant psus. it should be sitting right around 1.2kw.

the newer hardware can easily run what used to take a dedicated R series.

next is to consolidate all my network infra.

also, PDFs aren’t limited to A4. I have PDFs that span thousands of A4 pages that is meant for a large format plotter printer.

fuck em. they want to inconvenience me? I’m going to make it as legally difficult to collect debt from me out of spite. there’s no court that wouldn’t be convinced that it’s safer to pay physical invoices over digital.

it’s because most of these sites are hosted from vendors that charge per “change” and small businesses will point their dynamic stuff to google drive which doesn’t always allow stuff to be embedded and rendered within HTML. google does this to combat abuse like this where companies will host their entire website from a Google drive for “free”.

personally I was always a fan of the silly ren and stimpy-like animation and writing style of “The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog” that was voiced by Jaleel White (famous for playing Urkel on Family Matters).

as a parent, I can appreciate the “Sonic Sez” skits at the ends of the episodes that cover important topics for young children. things like; don’t talk to strangers, tell a trusted adult if someone touches you, don’t touch guns, etc.

another good cartoon would be CBS Storybreak. they animate stories or chapters from popular children’s books from the 80s and early 90s.
