I remember when nobody associated with Optimus was a billionaire.

[looks wistfully off into the distance]

Their motivation is staying away from open platforms, and protecting their members’ IP rights. Gotta thwart those pirates.
AMD is nearly 100x the size of Valve, and they couldn’t get HDMI 2.1 approval on Linux. Nvidia somewhat has it with their proprietary drivers, but not nouveau.

At least one person got the joke. 😁

“We need to develop a one universal standard that covers everyone’s use cases.”

I know, right? I made a typo in my post - that bathroom is right next to where the dining table would be.

I’m a bachelor, and I guess it’s fun having room to walk around, play with RC cars and stuff, but it seems impractical for families.

Fair enough. I do see people install TVs above their fireplace of their own free will. They just see other people doing it and think “that’s what I want!”

What’s bullshit about content creators? I enjoy watching documentaries from The History Channel or The Learning Channel. If someone does a bunch of research and self-publishes a documentary, they’re somehow less valid?
The article isn’t about anybody “making money off the fediverse”. It’s about finding a way to make the fediverse viable, considering that everybody wants to use it, but nobody wants to donate.

Thanks for bringing it up. Nobody likes to talk about money in the Fediverse, but it’s a fact of life.
I’ve stopped making Peertube videos lately mainly because I got tired of donating. We’ve got to come up with a better solution.
I can’t verify that it’s original, but I’ve never seen it before.

Yeah, I’ve got my own pump too. Great purchase.

In warm weather, it might last all summer. In the winter, I can go maybe 3 months before the low pressure warning comes on. I’ll get new valve stems next time I get tires. For some reason, that hadn’t really occurred to me.

I hate that. My car has a leaky back tire. It’s been like that since I bought it, and continued after I replaced all the tires.
It’s a lonely life, the life of a meme maker. We stand with you brother(or other).

Wow, that’s huge. When Vlemmy went under, it was the 16th largest, so about the size of Feddit.nl or Pawb.social today.

I remember hearing about it. How big was it, in comparison to the others?

I heard about Lemmy.one, but I didn’t know Kbin was gone.
I hate this so much. I’m secretly hoping a rock will crack my windshield bad enough that my insurance will pay for a new one.
To be fair, if I had more than $1M, I wouldn’t introduce myself to neighbors.
