It’s good, but I’d say it comes in at a definite second place to Worm. There’s much more of a focus on trauma and recovery from same, plus a wider cast of characters makes it feel a bit unfocused. Definitely read it if you (1) really enjoyed the angst in Worm and want more like that and (2) are deeply curious about how the world looks post-cataclysm.

I fundamentally disagree with this kind of take. If someone is having their ‘oh shit’ moment because a mainstream media figure is being targeted by the regime, that’s good. Don’t dunk on them for not reacting sooner just to make yourself feel cooler than ‘the libs.’

Misleading title. The judge (defendant) is attempting to end the prosecution by relying on said immunity, but the court has not made an actual ruling on the issue.

Unless you want to mod it, then it’s best to stick with the original.
