One of the most common uses is when you remove something like a fairing or a panel, to access something else, when you put the panel back on there are gaps between them. They are not structural, but it does hurt the aerodynamics of the plane, affecting the fuel mileage and cosmetics.
The solution is sealant in the panel gaps, this helps prevent moisture from seeping, and improves aerodynamics.
The issue is that the sealant takes a long time to cure properly, and when it isn’t fully cured, it will splatter everywhere (I’ve seen this happen). A common scenario as an example is, putting the final panels back on after an inspection, it’s nighttime in the winter, the sealant isn’t curing, instead of the plane sitting idle for 48 hours while sealant cures, you can just put speed tape over it, the tape holds the sealant in place while it cures and then mechanics can take the tape of after it’s fully cured.

.gov needs to be differentiated, and you need all of these country TLDs for that.
You could create your own DNS server with its own routes and registrars.
If you got enough people to use your DNS network you could create your own registrars and your own rules.
Users would need to switch to your DNS, but otherwise there isn’t anything about how the Internet works that requires you to use the big dog DNS

Yes, honestly the fact that ‘youtube music’ is literally just a different frontend for YouTube drives me nuts, it goes both ways, the YouTube app for TV doesn’t have proper features either, it’s unclear if you are getting the music or video version and the most egregious of them all imo, on the TV app, you can’t freaking browse for a different song while music is playing, you have to stop the song to go to the search bar.
Well, a lot of stock trading isn’t as simple as just stock picking, buying and selling individual stocks.
Much of the market is made up of derivatives trading, such as options, where you aren’t trading the stock itself, instead you are trading the option to buy the stock.
The value of the option is derived from the value of the underlying asset, but it is not absolutely coupled to it (this is how a lot of the money is made, by finding market inefficiencies and capitalizing on things like slippage, where there is a mismatch in the value of the derivative and it’s underlying)
What the person above is saying is that, when it becomes no longer profitable to trade underlying assets directly, new derivative markets will be invented that trade around other underlying assets.
Think about unregulated Bitcoin trading for example, while contrived, imagine a crypto currency that is coupled with the price of another asset (these exist, like USDcoin) such as a stock, future, option, or something else.
I should add, typically the derivative kind of collapse into the underlying at some point, but in the case of an option, it might be traded 100 times before that happens, during each of those trades the actual asset (e.g. the underlying stock) doesn’t actually change possession, and a given side of the contract may or may not be changing possession. If you write a call option for a 100 shares of Ford you own, you aren’t selling the stock unless the actual call gets assigned and you are required to fulfill the contract, but the ‘buyer’ side of the contract could have been sold 100 times in the meantime.
All this to say, it’s complicated and there are lots of opportunities for shady shit to happen.
