The problem with this “x costs money” rhetoric is that x is usually trying to maximize profit, not give a fair deal.

Yes. Ads are a stain on our species and should be outlawed.

They are a waste of resources, clutter and manipulate our minds, and give a ridiculous advantage to those who already have the money to buy them.

Honestly, I just kind of pick up on it.

Most people aren’t good and they tend to get worse with age. The people who are good tend to have a hard time because of how awful the rest of us are.

Everyone is saying “we don’t,” but do need a diet that’s more varied than cats? (for example) If so, why?

Think about it like this, if privacy wasn’t important, why would there be so many forces trying to invade people’s privacy?

If it really didn’t matter, then we should be able to choose whether we get privacy or not without it being significantly more difficult to choose one over the other.
