My job requires 45.
You fill out your own timesheet. Mine varies from 39 to 50 hours. They dont care what it says. But if you turn in a lot of timesheets under 45 hrs and dont get your work done and people complain that youre bad to work with, you may get asked whats up. If however you always get shit done, it doesn’t matter what it says for hours.
Be careful on the work desktop. You could go to prison for being on the fediverse if they find out (if in america).

Thats exactly what I did in my basement office! Behind me is a sharp crt, ps1, vcr, genesis, some other consoles. So nice to leave the phone and laptop in the bedroom and come down here to travel back to better times

Mines also an spch 101 and it sat in storage a couple years or longer. You’ll likely need a new laser , cheap and easy. May as well do a mod chip while youre in there.
A lot of people have done the mod that allows you to play games off a modded memory card, bypassing the error prone cd drive. Seems worth it
I loved it, but its not a work of art, its a tween drama book…but im obsessed with everything he wrote about in that book so it was just fun to read for me.

I actually experience the opposite.
Theaters have great movies, indie films, and showing old movies again. Everyone has been super respectful, and there’s been a few renovated theaters around me. And tickets (at the one I go to) i think are 8 or 10 dollars if you pay cash. The fancy theater is like 18 but I dont go there. Even the renovated original theater is only 10 dollars and has recliners!
And I dont even live in a city. More of a town.

Also physical media is hugely important to keep corporations from slurping up everything and charging subscriptions.

Thats probably just how normal people are though. I feel like the day is wasted if thats all I do (unless im just relaxing from work, thats a little different. But at some point I cant relax any more)
