It’s not meant to be easy! It’s actually best when it’s challenging and thought provoking
Any criticism, or insult or demeaning action I get, I try to swallow my pride and check if it’s justified. It sometimes is! If it’s not, I let it slide and try to keep on.
That said, tone and respect is important but not always reciprocal and at some point it may be best to not pursue a meaningful discussion
In my experience though, this is rarely the case!
People don’t talk any more because they have stopped listening.
They just want to tell their opinion and don’t care about what opinion others have or even consider their angles

I’m almost 50 and had to look up DAE 🤷 It turns out that it is an abbreviation for 48 meanings!
I figured it stands for Does Anyone Else but what has clearly changed as I grew older is, how tired I am of abbreviations
Big tech has never seen common people as anything but data. It’s funny they now are concerned for what will happen to us if their bubble bursts
I haven’t used Reddit for a few years, but the issue is that a lot of search engine results point to answers that now require an account. It’s no biggie, to find other results, but still annoying. Next time I stumble uppon this, i’ll try with the old reddit version and see if this works, but I am not desperate
Espcially when done like Reddit did, where everything that is not marked as nonNSFW needs an account, even though its neutral

I can’t really tell. It’s an old PC that I got second hand and I have never used it as a Mac.
It seems to work ok as it is though. I mostly use it for browsing and battery life seems to be ok, it’s age considering
This is the point though… Our world today has an issue, because it has become dependent on fast and unstoppable growth. Companies don’t have to grow fast and big, and they shouldn’t.
To me it sounds like companies outgrow themselves in the pursuit of growth
I feel that the majority of the world doesn’t get a voice in this, and it indirectly justifies having a gun.
Most of us do neither want, need or have a gun
it’s a public company issue.

Agreed. I’ve personally written to all representatives twice. Nobody really has asked for it
Remember when the Panama Papers were leaked, that exposed many celebrities who were involved in tax fraud and other criminal activities?
Remember how much it affected the involved people?
One thing i don’t understand is why a company always needs growth. Why not just do what they do, solve a problem for the people or companies they serve, and be happy with that. Growth will come, and plateau when it reaches a natural level of saturation. Why keep trying to expand, sell more, increase profit and eventually collapse?
