2·27 days agoIs that info from the latest Motorola collab? I heard about the beef between GOS and e/os, but nothing directly about Fairphone itself.
My first experience with him I remember were some atheist clips of pretty much a convo you’d have in your head, very edgelord, very cringy to share, especially from older dude.
Then I saw some of his shows, which were very nice.
So I feel conflicted about him. I think he knows well, just is an OG edgelord hating just for the love of the game.
With rise of oligopolies companies have learnt that if their competitor raises prices then it’s just time to raise their prices too.
With JustEat leaving the market I fear it’s going to get worse before it gets better.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Your phone is a snitch in your pocket, and the law won't save you. It's time to break the surveillance machine.
131·1 month agoFairphone 6 with e/OS can use its physical switch to disable camera & microphone. Its only SW disabling but it forces app that want to use it request it. There’s also privacy setting that gives apps fake geo data.
Its not perfect but any improvement is good.
Yeah but I might be remembering who said it.
I think it was Theo who joked about it there not being enough end game content.
Wasn’t Jesus bday actually in June or something? Was changed to Xmas just so they could absorb another pagan celebration.

Tbf linux has gone a long way to remove lot of the inertia. Also, with LLMs, its so much easier to use and learn Linux. Instead of chasing a problem for an hour on old forums you can get direct explanation and an answer in a minute.
