  • The majority of my currently held opinions on things have been shaped and influenced by over a decade of online forums discussion boards and conversations with strangers who hold different views as mine

I usually explain the phenomenon of the internet similar to that of the printing press. It makes the smart people smarter (easier access to information) and dumb people dumber (they can’t detect misinformation and manipulation thus will trend towards the worst possible outcomes). If you are a smart person without access to higher education YouTube and Wikipedia is the greatest invention of mankind; if you are a retard then YouTube leads you to binge watching Candace Owens

A lot of people will attach a morality to their belief structure to basically validate their personal opinions. So it’s not a difference of opinion you are immoral if you don’t eat how I eat because I’m choosing the morally good diet. It’s why it’s hard to have disagreeing discourse these days as people have formed their identity around their beliefs and their beliefs are justified by a contrived moral framework so there can’t be a disagreement as this would be both a personal attack on their identity as well as a moral attack and admission of moral failure and who would listen to the opinion of an immoral person

This is an abstraction of a phenomenon that’s been happening in increasing amounts over the last couple decades and the sperging vegan is a very amusing example of this

  • Idk if you are commenting in bad faith but there’s a long history in the west (I can only speak to America specifically) of falsely using antisemitism as a shield for any criticism of Jewish culture or Israel’ actions

So your analogy of people accepting a black person saying something is racist but not accepting the same statement from a Jew is totally glossing over the actual history of what’s gone on in the west at the hands of ecoterrorist orgs like the ADL using this as an excuse to manipulate control and shape the narrative surrounding modern Israel

The reason people in 2026 don’t really just bend the knee the instant the word “antisemitism” is used is because the word has been so overused that it lost all sense of meaning colloquially (similar to how liberals have used the term “Nazi” so often that people are proudly blasting HH by Ye and find it funny)

Either you don’t know the history of Jews in America or you do know and you are doing exactly what I’m describing which is falsely using antisemitism as a shield to protect Israel or Jews from valid criticism
