2·22 days agoI think so, because that was during the peak of the ram shortage, and LPCAMM2 was barely produced then.
Yeah, thats true but framework solved this with LPCAMM2 modules, which have much higher write speeds that sodimm. And just because “few actually upgrade it” doesnt mean all ram should be soldered, as having unsoldered ram caters to a completely different consumer market.
262·29 days agoAs someone who uses arch, its just stability. Arch is great for a hobby, if you want to do work, use fedora. Its so much simpler. That being said, I love arch because of the tinkering, and that lack of tinkering is why I switched off fedora.
And if you want a desktop (linux) client, Akregator works pretty well with similar functionality to Feeder.
