Ahhh I think I recognize that. It was used by the Star Trek TTRPG as well. I didn’t realize it had a standalone version.

The game I’m thinking of focused more on 1-on-1 fights, and it was set in the Star Trek II/III movie era.

Man I played a lot on that map. Just a ridiculous amount of hours. Did it have a name? Opposing Worlds?

Did each player get sort of an octagonal board with the starship in the center used to track ship orientation and shield strength?

There was this officially licensed Star Trek tabletop starship battle game that I got to play a couple times in the eighties and no one seems to remember it but me. Wish I could find a copy. I remember it being a blast.

Sadly, just can’t stand the stuff anymore. Grew up having sweetened iced tea for dinner every night. My wife always keeps different varieties on hand and I’ve occasionally tried different combinations of hot and sweet and milky. For my money, nothing touches a cup of joe. This is what bit me. Hadn’t used the handset for a while. Ran updates and did a factory reset. The only fix is mainboard replacement, which our pal Google won’t do for out of warranty devices despite it being their fuck up.

If you want your phone to be permabricked by the manufacturer at some random point in the future, it’s hard to beat a Google Pixel.

Had mixed results on Samsung Z Flip 4. One had the inner screen die right after the warranty was up. Other is still going strong, though the permanent screen protector has separated at the hinge.
