Gettysburg, what an unbelievable battle that was. It was so much, and so interesting, and so vicious and horrible, and so beautiful in so many different ways–it represented such a big portion of the success of this country. The list of resources we are running out of should include resiliant ecosystems. Apart from that, to me, the entire comment could be summarized as “capitalism”.
I never did understand why you are not supposed to change a running system.
