Bought it used long, long after Ford had died and there’s no obvious connections anymore.

Trying to compare the regular, everyday villainy of modern Ford Motor Company to Musk’s cartoon super villainy seems like something a Tesla owner would say as a coping mechanism.

Ford was a literal Nazi sympathiser as well. I don’t think there’s an ‘ethical’ car you can buy.

Part Jewish here, yes the Nazi sympathizing was awful. But at the same time, he spearheaded massive improvements for workers.

Does that make up for supporting Nazis? No. But most people are some mix of good and bad

When I was 15 I read a book that said Hitler couldn’t be completely evil cause he improved the lives of the German people. I’d just rather not have had all the bad shit he did.

Hitler did it at the expense of the Jews, gypsies, and others. Ford did it at the expense of the shareholder’s profits, see the Dodge brothers

There’s no such thing as completely evil, that’s fairytale shit. Every bad person in history was a complete and complex human being with their own motivations. Hitler probably thought he was doing the right thing. That’s a lot scarier than the “he was just evil” hand wave.

“nothing scarier than a monster thinks he’s right with God” -Malcolm Reynolds - Firefly.

And yes it’s definitely much scarier

Until he got the whole country bombarded, tons of them killed, and drove the country into the brink of economic collapse? Poor argument. If you’re gonna say he did something worthwhile take off the fucking kid gloves and admit no matter how absolutely horrific a manner in which he did it, Nazi experiments advanced knowledge of medicine and anatomy.

The Mitsubishi Torpedo Plant in Nagasaki, Japan was the secondary target of the atomic bombing on August 9, 1945. Just sayin’.
