I bought a 3080 because that gen seemed like a pretty solid bump in performance for the price. The new Nvidia gen is underwhelming so just wait. Or if you really need one now buy a 30 or 40 series card.

I waited like 6 months to get a 5080.
Im glad I waited, now I can get a 4080 for a good price.
