The government really should be using Mastodon since it is decentralized and FOSS.
What is weird is that engagement without paid boosting is now mostly decimated on twitter. And the part that is boosted gets mostly engaged by bots. The situation is frankly ridiculous and no competent organization or personnel should be giving anything but RSS one way update there.
