    It should be distanceraptor / time

    Otherwise the raptors cancel and you just get velocity.

      Distanceraptor over time equals velociraptor? Sounds like evolution to me.

      Good catch, but following that it should actually be displacementraptor / time. Speed is based on distance traveled, velocity is where you started vs where you ended up. If you run complete laps around a track your velocity will be 0 when you’re done because your displacement is 0 (start and end points are the same)

        Also a good catch.

        Speediraptor just sounds silly. Not nearly as scary as velociraptor.

        And it should be displaceraptor, dropping the last syllable, otherwise the quotient would be velocityraptor.
