Spotted in London. There were some for gay, lesbian and straight. 🏳️🌈
Is anyone else bothered by how unaligned this looks?
Well it’s not straight…
so what since i’m a straight dude i’m just stuck at that intersection until i die or a nice lesbian passerby accompanies me across the street?
No, you just need to come to terms with your urge to be a woman.
It is more difficult for gay men who have to accept the fact that women are not gross.
Yep, no other option. We don’t make the rules.

I’m guessing trafalgar square or thereabouts, the side closest to Soho.
Soho (and if you’re going by underground stations, Tottenham Court Road/Leicester Square) is the gay part of london… historically at least, I haven’t lived there for a while and never tried to check out the gay scene there for mostly obvious reasons.Munich does this too. https://www.cnn.com/2015/07/15/europe/gallery/munich-pride-traffic-lights-july
Stockholm too
I like the idea of them, but frankly the London ones are a poor design IMO — the male/female symbols are too much of a departure from the expected iconography. It also represents a hazard for the colourblind. The other cities listed here have managed to incorporate diversity while still maintaining clear communication.

I wonder how archeologists will explain this sign
