He is Greek, they were buggering the students and calling it philosophy before your country had roads.
I had to be hospitalized in 1999 in Greece. Every time rhe doctor came to check on me he was smoking his pipe and one of the nurses was a cigarette chain smoker. Then I took a flight the fuck out of there, and everyone inside was smoking. It was so fucking bizarre.
