Pasta, canned herring in tomato sauce, garlic olives
If you are in need of some real fresh light, I would recommend to go outside at daytime.

I didn’t want to hit a soft spot.
No one is yelling. Both sides need to prove their points. If one side is insulting, it’s not so easy to be open-minded to the other person’s point of view.
After reading another commenter’s reply I’m willing to reassess. I wouldn’t have thought that Wikipedia is influenced to this degree by the US-american government. When I read an article, that is hosted by a site that I understand to be under high quality control, in which it is stated that a minority is being oppressed and persecuted, I am alarmed by people denying it.
Thank you for the comment! The sources seem valid and your text is refreshing to read. When I have the time to read everything with the needed focus, I’ll reassess.
When US bombs China, we won’t have to worry about a thing if things escalate. Both, the US and the Chinese government *can *and *do *commit crimes on large scales. It is not exclusive to the US.
You are correct, China is committing human rights abuses against Uyghurs and other Turkic Muslim minorities. I don’t think that this is the right way to treat peoples.
Please refrain from insulting.
If you react to evidence with denial, there is no reason to discuss.
I hope that you are able to understand that your comment is misrepresenting what I wrote. When one desaturates, it’s hard to see color.
I wrote that I am in favor of liking a certain aspect of a country even when another aspect is not likeable. I explicitly wrote that I am not for an oversimplified “China good” statement, in case the picture tries to convey that.
Thank you for the comment! Sadly, I have somewhat limited time, so the best I can do is to link this article: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-22278037
It’s about the genocide of the Uyghurs.

If this meme is about how it’s ok to like an aspect of a country without the need of liking it as a whole, I agree.
If this is a “China good” meme, I don’t agree.
Among other countries, China is also committing genocide human rights abuses against Uyghurs and other Turkic Muslim minorities, suppressing free states and is treating the majority of their population like shit.
And don’t get me started on the millions of tons of microplastics they are responsible for…
Somehow my eyes went right to the correct position

Middle management is also there to communicate both ways in order to manage expectations. Especially when the senior dev is busy as well. And ideally the first few weeks to months after onboarding are there for junior devs to train and to get comfortable with the new environment (programmatically and socially). I get a lot of anti-work vibes from Lemmy communities, and while I get that capitalism is bad and big corps are optimizing profits over the employees’ well being, I also think that work doesn’t necessarily have to suck. I mean, it’s pretty neat when someone’s good at a thing and gets paid for doing something they somewhat like and are good at 70% of the time.
If times are rough and you have to take what you can get, that’s obviously shit, though…

I love how OP restricted themselves to only respond in the mentioned phrases and how some have quite the reaction. Got me rolling.

I have a talent. I’m able to slouch on any chair or equivalent that is presented to me.
If I remember to correct my posture I just put the pillow for my lower back, slide to the edge of my seat or do both.
That’s this weird Scientology guy, right?
Breaks are important. I think it’s good being interested in politics but too much can be exhausting. What I do is take a long walk preferably in nature. Music is a great outlet as well. And even though I think that you might not feel like doing sports, since I know that kind of fatigue you write about, I believe that this would help, too. And sometimes it’s sleep.
I encounter negativity when discussing politics online. Somehow quite a few people get insulting and expect me to change my view after. It’s irritating and hinders my will to be open minded when discussions are tinted with insults.
Anyway, I hope you find the things your mind needs to recover.
