It’s partially a skill level issue that people are negligent about and are not competent and unbiased about assessing. Pitbull rescue, training and handling is for experienced and skilled adults who can control large powerful dogs. Not a dog for children or for unsupervised visitations. The dogs should not be bred, either.

The placebo effect can be incredibly powerful, and remains so to this day. So in that sense, some of the ‘magic’ was not patched out.
