I actually find straight down to be really annoying and always struggle to keep water from streaming down into my eyes and face. I find the slight angle from a wall mounted shower head much more versatile for cleaning and comfort.

I barely graduated high school and never completed my only semester of community college. My whole life I found it very difficult engaging with formal education and lacked motivation to focus on the synthetic work of school. It always felt meaningless and detached from reality to me. I was eager to be done with school as soon as possible.

I’m very satisfied with how my life turned out and the minimal role of formal education within it.

Sounds like maybe she isn’t either.

I don’t know how old you are, so I can’t even guess what your perspective and context on this subject might be. All I know is that at 55 (born in 1970) it sure feels different right now compared to how things have been for most of my lifetime. To me, at least.
