2·1 month agoThat is nothing new they always did this with cinemas and DVD/Blu rays too. You wanted to do a screening of the jungle book? You can’t. You want to buy a box of your favorite movies, out of stock to create an artificial scarcity and demand for the Christmas season.
Reminds me of a past mayor of the city I live in. One of his talking points was too get rid of the speeding cameras in the city. He came into office and did a photo op covering the first camera. A few weeks later his son died due to an accident caused by wreckless speeding driver in City center.

The greed goes deep. It’s funny that micro transactions hardly ever were micro. If it’s was a few cents for a pure cosmetic item I might even do that from time to time, but take the discord cosmetics 50ct I might buy sth blinky, but they want 5-10€ for that shit
For me throwing a graph in and telling it to create a table from it and stuff like that is really super helpful, since I often have to do this, and by hand it’s a very tedious job. Sorting and cleaning tables and translating stuff is super handy and I use it quite often. But other then that I don’t care.
