Mainstream gaming, is on aggregate, getting worse and worse over time. Everyone wants to feel empowered to stop that from happening.
You could punch upward, targeting management of stuidos and publishers.
You could look inward, and make a commitment to sincerely boycott games from companies that consistely release games in an unfinished state, use dark patterns to exploit gambling addictions for profit, mistreat their staff, etc.
Or you could punch down, and target LGBT creators, who are largely individual contributors and completely unrelated with any of the root causes of the decline in game quality. But this one is SO much easier than the other two, so maybe you’ll do this one so that you can feel like you’re doing something without really having to do anything. Especially since it confims some things you heard from politicians that need to distract you from how their only policy is to make life better for rich people.

I do not care about the actor at all, I would have played the Japanese dub anyways, what I do care about is Sakai, after teasing us at the end of Ghost of Tsushima about Mongols in China and the Ghost’s name spreading there they come and do this? I will wait for Jin’s next game, if there isn’t one then I’m not playing. Simple as.
I loved playing Ghost of Tsushima (gotta play it again when I get home) and I really enjoy everything Erika Ishii does, this is amazing!

Me, I don’t care about any of this, but with the recent announcements from Ubisoft (Steam release on day 1, no more season pass for new Assassin’s Creed, etc) I’m a bit more optimistic towards their leadership direction and given how much good I’ve heard about the first Ghost game, I might just get this one if it works well with Proton.

Just played “Ghost of Tsushima” for 5 Hours. It’s so good. I Play will Ghost of Yotei. No Matter What.
Delayed PC release is the biggest downside. I guess the no games box needs a win and I’m usually a patient gamer, but it is unfortunate.
