I’ll start. Booked a hotel next weekend via a big blue hotel booing site. Get a phone call today from the accomodation provider asking for payment. Told them to take it via the booking site. They say no, and I will lose my reservation. Booking site says pay the accomodation direct. Go on the accomodation site and I can’t book for the days I wanted. WTF arrrrrgh.

I had plans today and have woken up sick 😭 I’m angry at my immune system.

I also have a job interview Sunday, so if I’m still sick by then I’m gonna be extra mad.

maybe something I should talk with a therapist (if I could afford one).

it’s my life long dream to get an RV, my ex kicked me out after more than a decade (as soon I finish paying for her medical school and we moved to where she wanted to practice and refused to allow me to get a greencard). so I’m now stuck in a country in not allowed to be, where they send people like me to slave camps in third world dictatorships, I can’t works, I pay alimony, I’m struggling to make it to the end of the month, drowning in bills.

And she just bought an RV.

This won’t help you, but I hope others take note. You need a lawyer, we all need legal representation. It’s the difference between the rich and the poor, and being a victim in general.

I have LegalShield for $26/mo. (I think? Close enough.) Don’t know if there are other legal insurance providers. I can pick up the phone anytime, leave a message with customer service, get a call back within an hour (maybe not on weekends?). Of course they’ll want some documentation as to what’s going on, unless it’s a simple, straight question. And you get a legal opinion just like that! They’ll write a letter or two as well as handling end-of-life docs. Probably a few other bits I don’t care about.

If it’s more serious, like my divorce and child custody (two events), it’s 25% off. Do the math. 25% off several thousand covers quite a few months at $26.

I got royally fucked because my mother picked some damned lawyer to press our inheritance suit. FUCKED out of 10s of thousands. Would kill to do it all over again with a LegalShield lawyer. Not that they’re top tier or anything, but they are answerable, unlike a private attorney who can just say, “Fuck you if you don’t like it. Here’s another invoice.” My divorce attorney was shit, my custody attorney mopped the floor with my ex and her freebie lawyer. 🤷🏻

About to open two cases where my questions are, “Can they fucking do that?” and “Do I have any recourse here?” I don’t know the answers. IANAL, but I can get one on the phone.

tl;dr: Be prepared for life to kick you around if you don’t know your rights.

It’s insurance. They cover basic stuff like maybe a written letter, simple advice, stuff like that. Well worth it if you do the math. One answered question can save you hundreds, maybe thousands, of dollars.

“But I don’t want to sue anyone!”

Neither do I, and I’m not wealthy. But having a solid backing is worth the money. Have a lawyer on your side and you’ll quickly see why the rich are rich and we’re fucked.

Not here to sell this shit. Y’all do you.

I get pissed at the pointless censorship of swears lol. Also, I’ve only ever booked hotels directly through the hotel’s website, it’s a lot less hassle in the long run

The blight that is invasive fire ants.

I thought a nice stroll outside would be good for me. Along the way I spotted some wild turkeys (before they spotted me) so I stopped to observe them. While standing there, I leaned up next to a sign post, and moments later my ankles were lighting up with fire ant stings. They were all over my shoes. I wasn’t even standing on their nest, apparently just close enough to annoy them.

So fuck all the damned fire ants, they should go back to their own damn country where they belong.

If I were Dictator of the United States, I would get an expert panel together and publicly announce that we are going to exterminate every last motherfucking one of them, whatever the cost. Seriously, would make it a national campaign backed with fat federal dollars.

If you’re in America, but not in the South, you cannot image what a pest/threat they are.

BTW OP, they got your happy ass because your steps vibrated their mound. And holy shit can they move fast when they sense a threat!

PRO TIP: Get bait that uses hydramethylnon. Yes, it’s more expensive, but it’s a nuclear bomb for these fuckers, WIDE blast radius. Use very sparingly, dab’ll do ya.

Hell no, we already got enough of those! 😆

Those fuckers are from the “heart” of South America: Paraguay, Bolivia, NE Argentina, and a chunk of Brazil bordering those. Including my homeland, Paraná. For me they’re like southern lapwings, they find their way into any grassland to ruin the kids’ fun.

my daughter is in tears, she wanted to go to a bike event for months and it’s tomorrow. her mom promised she could go. however she isn’t allowed her to use her own bike for reasons. she thinks she’s punishing me by not letting me take them to a bike parade.

I’m looking where to rent bikes.

Because the manufacturer doesn’t like to communicate exactly how things work, and because a seller on Amazon sent me the wrong thing, I ended up buying about $100 worth of hinges I don’t need. But I’ll eventually find a use for them I guess.

Nothing. Luckily anger is not among the negative feelings I have to deal with. I’m more of a depression and anxiety kind of guy.

Got a job I like with coworkers I (mostly) like, and applied for an apartment in the upstairs. Busted my ass for a month to try and make a good impression, then 30 minutes after I arrived an hour late (I explained in the group chat that I misread the schedule and thought I was working PM, then showed up 20 minutes later) I was told my application was denied.

Fucking killed all the motivation I have for the job, especially since now I’m going to have to move with my parents 2 states away since there is NO affordable housing out here.

Feel free to add as many red faces as you want. I often feel like I shouldn’t be allowed to be angry at crap. Like I’m supposed to be above it as an adult.
