Correlation to real-world performance is reverse.

Indicates that middle to upper management has the optimal work/pay ratio. Which in turn indicates that the company should reorganize to get rid of executives and CEOs.

As an enjoyer of large screens… This tracks. I don’t see how you can do a job on a laptop or under 32in monitor.

Seeing all these “consults” with their laptops… Is mostly a show of force

I have a 16" laptop and lowkey hate using it when I don’t have it connected to my two 27" HD panels at my desk. Once I got to use it hooked up to two 32" 4K panels and I’ve been jealous of that setup ever since. I saw an $90 portable 15.6" monitor at Costco yesterday, looks like it can run on a single USB-C connection, and am sorta seriously considering getting that for when I’m on the road. Maybe I can get work to get me something like that.

I mean, the single laptop screen works fine when I need it, but I really prefer having more real estate.

I’d be on two monitors but my M1 MacBook Air can’t output to two screens apparently.

Not funny sorry bro. I had iPhone and 2 screens assigned to me for work and wasn’t even close to CEO.

I think they’re saying the CEO only uses the iPhone. If you have dual monitors you’re in the bottom right, even if they also give you a phone.
