It depends on what we’re doing and where we’re going. If it’s something quick or I’m going to be busy while I’m there, then I’ll just take a pair of headphones and two of my android devices, one to listen to music on the way there and back, and another to play games while I’m there if I can. If we’re going to be gone for a while, I’ll take all of my android devices, my controller, a keyboard and mouse, my tablet stand, and some USB cables and adapters. I would take some other devices, but for right now, android devices are the only portable devices I have that I actively use.

Keys, wallet, phone, pick set (licensed locksmith and it comes in handy), pocket knife. Usually leave the last 2 at home if I am planning on going to anything with security checks.

Shit! Good point I also never leave without my glasses. I also never have them off if I’m awake. Shoulda thought of that.

Above and beyond that, in my wallet I keep an emergency prescription glasses lens which I ground down to clip into a keyring.

The indent in my wallet looks like a condom LOL! But no, it’s an emergency lens in case I lose my glasses or something…

It’s funny, for years my list was keys, wallet, and phone, and of those it’s the keys that go back the furthest. I had a key to my parents house when I was a young teen, and I’ve always carried keys with me since (I’m in my 60s now). I sold my house a couple months ago, and I’ve been living in a hotel until I close on a condo, and it feels so strange not to own any keys now, just the key card for the hotel.

Clothes, unfortunately. If I go out nude, the nation will bankrupt itself trying to get a front-row viewing of this show~

    I have ADHD so I get rid of most problems by literally tying things to myself. I have a second belt which goers over my pants and have a hip bag attached to it. In that I have the following;

    Disposable nitrile gloves (3-4 pairs)

    Hand sanitiser

    Power bank (10000mAh)

    USB C cable

Thumb drives (one with kids shows, one with software, one blank)

    USB A to C adapter

    Wallet

    ID lanyard

Emergency cash (not in wallet because if I lose my wallet I still have my cash)

    Tissues

    Aspirin, paracetamol, and ibuprofen

    Ritalin

    Plastic bags for rubbish

Nasal inhaler (for blocked nose, long term issue)

Car and house keys (attached on a clip, not inside)

Then I have my pockets for phones (I have 2), wireless headphones, and anything else for the day.

By keeping my keys attached I cannot get in the car without my belt bag.

Do you mean that ironically or literally?

Tbh, if I didn’t actually attach things to myself I would lose them. If I had a kid I would have a strap to connect them. When I take my cat for walkies we have a harness and lead which never leaves my hand. I have my keys set up to lock the front door from the outside so I cannot lock myself out without my keys.

ADHD can suck, but with good tools and processes it is much more manageable.

The ideal list of stuff (sometime I forget or not have time):

    • Phone
    • Keys
    • Pepper Spray (am a non-white dude, live in US, but don’t feel ready to carry a gun yet, don’t wanna get too depressed and shoot myself lol)
    • wireless earbuds
    • some hand sanitizers to clean my hands in case I need to touch a bathroom doorknob and there’s no paper towel to let me open it without getting nasty shit on my hand (anyone else germophobic?),
    • hopefully I remember my power bank and the cable

Everytime? Depends on what I am doing. Is it a walk, bikeride, or drive?

    Each has different requirements.

Glasses. That is the one thing that is on the list for all trips.

Wallet: drive. License: bike. Helmet: bike. Walk, maybe nothing but glasses.

Phone about half the time for any of those things. Trying to not bring it as much. The thing you miss most with a phone while out when you don’t have it is the ability to take pictures.
