I have been playing quite a bit of Hytale. While ipt is not on steam, it was very easy to install, and plays really well with a trackball and keyboard. It probably plays fine with a controller too, but I have not tried that.

Currently replaying Portal 2, it’s amazing how well it holds up considering it came out almost a decade and a half ago.

I just finished playing Spiderman Remastered and Oblivion Remastered.

Been playing Cloudheim with a friend, and it’s alright. Feels heavily inspired by Genshin, at least at a surface layer. Has a huge amount of stuff to do though.

Also getting started on Kingdom Come Deliverance 1. I’ve always heard how good it is, and a coworker has been pushing me to play it.

I’ve also been messing around with Monster Hunter Wilds on the deck. I had to buy a new graphics card for my desktop PC awhile back, because it got destroyed by lightning. MH Wilds was included for free with the card, so I’ve had it all this time but haven’t even tried to play it due to the performance issues. But the recent performance updates have made it possible to play on Deck. Performance varies wildly, most of the smaller areas run good enough, but the flat plains area has a pretty consistently low fps. It’s definitely not ideal, but it is possible to play it on Deck now without the “little engine that could” mod.

Operation Harsh Doorstop, Easy Red 2 and I have been exploring Rigs Of Rods a bit, I think it is an underrated driving game well suited to the deck but it has lots of quirks and I am gonna do a more indepth post on it when I get all my recommendations for fun starter vehicles and levels together.

Oh sure, if you use retrodeck or something similar, your ROMs can be added to the normal steam lib with images and everything, making it almost fully plug and play. I have been pretty succesful up to PS3 (I love Dante’s inferno), and although switch/BotW required a lot more work beforehand, it did eventually work on a stable fps.

    Back on Fallout 4.

Never tried non-console modding before, but Vivid Fallout & Another Green Mod got it looking real nice 👌

I started playing Earth Must Die. Pretty funny although I haven’t at the earth must die part yet.

    • Monster Train 2

    • Absolum

Also been playing Expedition 33 and picked up Shredders yesterday, but have been streaming them from my PC as they look awful when trying to play natively.

New patch and DLC for Monster Train tomorrow that I’m excited for. Slay the Spire 2 will have some solid competition for my time when it releases!

With Exp 33, you will definitely want to play with the settings. You can get it looking decent, but the default settings were not ideal back when I played it.

    • just started Shenmue 3, I’m a big fan of the first two games from the Dreamcast era
    • continue playing Sailor Moon: Another Story RPG on the SNES through RetroArch

As you can see, I’m oldschool fan. :D There are so many games installed and available to me, every time the Deck is opened up, I have choice paralyzes.
