This is the real danger of AI. Never knowing if you’re looking at something real, something fake, or something created from AI.

That guy was confident it was AI. Who’s not to say people with evil thoughts won’t create entire fictional stories as propaganda, and people will believe it because they saw the footage.

That’s why companies are pushing so hard for AI right now. If Coke can create a viral moment, completely fabricated from AI, but people think it’s real, it would be the most powerful form of advertising.

Politicians could use it for far more evil purposes to control society. And then some people would say “that’s AI”. And a small number of people would know a story was fake AI, but they’d be labeled as crazy, because the majority believe that story.

Congratulations, you’re so fucking dumb that I felt my own brain cells dying from just reading your comment. You should just restart life, go back to kindergarten and try to learn every step of the way.

Phones are painstakingly designed for idiots to use in idiotic situations. They literally build them so idiots can take them in the bath.

That said, this woman is a keeper, and the dude that said “bye” is a dummy.

idk, I’ve fixed a lot of phones that people take into baths or showers. constant exposure will wear down the seals and there’s a reason they’re water resistant not waterproof. plus if you’ve ever had any repair done even by an authorized provider that water resistance goes out the window.

With things like rain, deserts and humidity existing, any phone should be IP64 at least, so it’s paranoid to expect it to fail near a bath. Meanwhile many modern phones are IP67, meaning you can literally put them under water.

So who’s the idiot here, the person using a device within its specifications so they can have more fun, or someone still stuck in the 00s ?

I don’t know who you’re calling an idiot back in the early 2000s I had a phone that died because it got rained on. Not even a lot of rain.

Waterproofing is necessary just generally. Even if you assume it’s never going to get dropped in a puddle it needs to be splash proof at least.
