As an old fart, I’m perpetually bothered by the fact that ‘rave crabs’ have nothing to do with ‘FotL’ and people wouldn’t understand me referencing the latter.
I mean, except this is a post about the crab from Fat of the Land.

Fat of the Land was the first CD I borrowed indefinitely and thus owned circa also the same time.

I was supposed to see them in concert in May 2019, had tickets and was super excited 😭
I mean the latter has a song that became a theme to a popular medical drama.

I love the distortion lines around the crab. I imagine this always being the case around this crab. You go to the beach and you spot that crab and for as long as you are looking at it really distorts around it.

Why is the beetle named after the album, but the crab is named after the band?
Yeah the inconsistent naming convention got me too.
I assume they’re just named after the largest word on the album. “Fat Of The Land Crab” would also be too long, and “Massive Attack Beetle” too threatening.
Massive Attack Beetle sounds way cooler
