I want to point out that they made a FORTY MINUTE finale somewhat recently. It is of course glorious.
I thought that finale kind of ruined it. What made the originals fun was the fact that they were quick and absurd. We were just as confused as Charlie about why all of these nonsensical things were occurring. But the finale establishes a bunch of lore that retroactively explains logical reasons for all the absurd events/locations/characters. Of course, that “logic” pretty much always just boils down to “magic”, but it is still taking some of the fun out of the absurdity.

That was my favourite youtube video when I was 19 or so
I still remember the first time I saw this in college, the reveal at the end of the video had me and my friends literally ROFL’ing. Actually on the floor with guttural laughter.
I always mix up Charlie the Unicorn and O Brother Where Art Thou with this song.
