    “Return of the frog queen”

Sidebar: I would kill to see an animated take along the lines of old European animation classics where the animal kingdom is rife with struggles that mirror and reenforce our own.

Stuff like The animals of farthing wood, Watership Down, …hell Maya the Bee or even David the Gnome.

Taking even from Japanese approaches to surrounding wildlife with Shinto inspired takes like Pom Poko

I just think it’d be amazing to see a dark, sorta Don Bluth x Miyazaki tale of classic good and evil. A Rats of NIMH meets LOTR tale.

A scary and dangerous tale of a queen kidnapped from yet returned by, a group of animals as a metaphor for nature returning balance to everything around it. Could be a cool story of backstabbing snakes and sword fighting frogs with the heart of the forest at stake; all while a frog princess… prophesied to be queen, is smuggled out and floated down river…

Nah, paladins only really care about Str and Con, and it’s not like spellcasters are locked out of higher level spells anymore if they aren’t 18+ in a score. Go Str and balance Con and Wisdom and you’re good.

If the DMs an old person you can even ask them to use Wisdom for the Paladin spells if you take Oath of the Ancients and spin it like that, 3.0 edition and older dms will probably agree out of pure nostalgia.

Alternatively, flex build for someone using roll for stats that got good rolls.
