One has a Japanese honorific prefix and the other does not.

No. We are not given those.
The people who we trust to secure those rights for us that you take for granted are useless unless they’re blocking progress.

What policy??
Unconditional arms sales for the ongoing genocide in gaza.
That the democrats signed the “genocide support bill”?
Centrist democrats kept working with republicans to pass aid packages while the genocide was going on. They voted with republicans to block bills that would condition arms sales. Arms sales under the Biden administration continued despite being flagrantly against the Leahy law. And the Biden administration’s Secretary of State ran interference for the netanyahu regime at the UN. “But they didn’t pass a bill explicitly named the genocide support bill so there’s no genocide and democrats didn’t support it” is a shit argument in the worst faith from someone who has nothing. Unlike with every other policy they claim they support, centrist democrats gave up zero ground in their singleminded devotion to making sure netanyahu got his weapons.
And now you’re trying to deflect to some even broader and even vaguer notion about all policy and all behaviour from every Democrat in congress.
I’ve been talking about centrist democrats in particular this entire time. Hopefully no centrist democrat ever wins a primary again.
Abuse is no substitute for a single example of anything that the democratic party fights for harder than it does genocide, but since no such example exists, you’ll do what centrists do when cornered. Condescension, gaslighting, and abuse.

Imagine saying the democrats had a policy of genocide support with a straight face
Name another policy they haven’t backed down on. That they don’t abandon or capitulate to republicans on and call it compromise.
You know you can’t.

The rule of law protects property rights, contracts, and individuals.
On paper, sure. In practice, most individuals aren’t protected.
Finally, I don’t even know what you mean by “it does not protect human workers.” Protect them from what? Wage theft? Unsafe working conditions? Wrongful termination? Union busting? There are entire bodies of labor law dedicated to protecting workers, even if you believe those protections are insufficient or poorly enforced.
Well, in that case our system is perfect and we should be concerned about the poor techbros’ oppression tools. Lord knows you’re concerned with absolutely nothing else.

They’re getting built and the objections of the people are ignored.
Rule of law protects the inanimate toys of techbros.
It does not protect human workers.

Wage theft impacts millions of actual humans and you’re whining about the rights you think a corporate owned tool of oppression has instead.

Yea that didn’t happen, and the trust of whatever fringe minority of insane people who believe that it did isn’t wanted or valuable.
You blame us when you lose.
The only thing moderates want is to flip purple seats
The only thing any of you want is reflected in the only policy your wing didn’t back down on: genocide support.

You’re stating a position that I never took. I never said I supported AI data centers.
You just handwring about theft from them. But not wage theft.
For one reason.

I explained how the data centers differ from the actual human beings you pretend that you don’t hate.

If moderates wanted trust, they shouldn’t have broken their campaign promises then turned around and supported genocide.

You can do all the moral finger-pointing you want. The moment you start selectively deciding who is and isn’t a thief is the moment the justice system starts breaking down.
It broke down long ago. You care more about copper in a techbro’s plagiarism machine than you do about all the wage theft ever.

When it’s AI data centers being robbed, suddenly theft is funny, justified, or even worth celebrating. But if the victims were socialist politicians, transgender people, or any other group this community sympathizes with, the reaction would be outrage and demands for justice.
AI data centers aren’t people and are owned by corporations. The trans people and socialist politicians you hate don’t waste obscene amounts of electricity and water. The trans people and socialist politicians you hate don’t store data for surveillance capitalism. Trans people and socialist politicians aren’t a plagiarism machine. Trans people and socialist politicians don’t pollute everything with soulless slop.
One is a tool of oppression. The other is the people being oppressed.

Moderates weren’t happy as soon as his first scandals came out, but the left cried foul at any criticism.
You really can’t imagine why the left might no longer trust centrists’ motives, can you?

I expect an october surprise against Talarico. And it’s not gonna come from republicans.
If democrats can’t find any dirt on Talarico, they’ll fuck with his campaign funding instead.

We all need to start expecting oppo drops against progressive candidates with centrist primary runners-up the week or so before ballots finalize.
If they have progressive runners-up, expect the oppo drop in October the week before early voting opens.

They want too little money.
They’ve already selected the boss’ incompetent child for the position. Of course it’s in management.
