If we want to talk about the current scales the greens would be holding us to a 60% red line rate. I’m not current but I’m guessing the average American living paycheck to paycheck is around 60% now.
I used to have wristbands - green, yellow, and red - that I’d switch between. Lost the green and yellow ones around 2020 or so. If that isn’t a metaphor, I don’t know what is.

I was bullied a lot as a kid, perhaps it made me more sensitive to potential areas of weakness for such predatory behaviours.
